Pear Tree Cottage is annexed to our own home and has been renovated, decorated and furnished to a very high standard.   Every effort has been made to make the cottage feel like a “home from home” with many personal touches added for the comfort of our guests.   All the rooms are very light and airy and the cottage has full central heating.   There is private parking immediately adjacent to the cottage and the accommodation is at ground floor level with just four steps to the sitting room.   It is perfect for one or two persons as holiday accommodation or for anyone staying in the area for business purposes requiring a very comfortable temporary home. Unfortunately we are unable to accomodate children of any age, and we are unable to accept pets.

We shall personally welcome all guests on arrival with a hospitality tray ready for your refreshment

Endon is a very pretty village and is well situated for visiting the Peak District which is within 6 miles and has stunning scenery and many lovely villages and towns.   Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and the Manifold Valley are all within easy reach and are well worth visiting.  Nearer to home we have Biddulph Grange, a National Trust garden and Ford Green Hall, both within 4 miles which are major tourist attractions.    We are well situated for visiting all the major pottery retail outlets and leisure facilities including, theatres, cinemas, bowling alley, swimming pool, all being within approximately 6 miles.   Golf is available within 1 mile.   Leek is a lovely market town situated on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands and has many antique shops, restaurants, cafes and interesting architecture and is approximately 4 miles away. The property is well situated to accomodate guests who may require temporary accomodation for short term work placements at local businesses eg JCB & Britannia Building Society or the many other local  companies in and around Stoke-on-Trent

Endon has two public houses serving food every day and both are within walking distance, approximately ¼ mile and ½ mile.   There are many other restaurants in the area.   There is a village supermarket and a chemist, the nearest post office is within 1 mile and a larger supermarket ¾ mile away.   We can supply maps of local walks and there is a canal with towpath which passes through lovely scenery and can be accessed in Endon itself.   We are very proud of our local Endon Well Dressing festival which takes place over the Bank Holiday week-end in May each year and has a full programme of events covering the Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

We are available to help you to gain the maximum enjoyment from your stay with us and will be very happy to answer your queries and to ensure your personal comfort.
